How can you use the 6-person board with four people?
The board consists of 6 'puzzle pieces' by taking out the two straight pieces you can play with four people
Can you only play Keezen with four or six people?
No, you can also play Keezen with 2, 3, 5, and 7 people! Use the expansion sets for this, or play with the Total Box!
How big are the boards?
The 4-player board measures 40 by 40 cm. The 6-player board consists of puzzle pieces packaged in a box measuring 20 by 20 by 10 cm.
What are the jokers that are included used for?
The jokers are not used in the regular Keezen game, but they are used in Keezbord The Battle, Barrierering, or Tokken.
If you can't move any of your pawns, do you have to discard all the cards in your hand?
Yes, then you have to discard all your cards and wait for the next round.
Am I allowed to move one pawn seven steps forward with a 7?
Yes, splitting the seven moves is optional, not mandatory.
Do I have to do another round if I'm in front of my home base but can't enter it?
In the regular version of Keezen, you don't have to do another round, but you have to wait until you get the right cards. In Speed Keezen and Duo Keezen, you keep moving until you have the right cards to enter your home base.
Do you have to swap with your own pawn when using a swap card, or can you also swap two other pawns (if that’s more beneficial for you)?
You must always swap with your own pawn, even if it's not in your favor.
